Carolyn Humphrey, Ph.D.

Carolyn's 15 years of organizational consulting experience, coupled with her background in Counseling Psychology, gives her a unique perspective on helping clients develop strong performers. She has consulted across the talent-management spectrum, from 360-degree feedback, executive coaching, and team effectiveness, to the design and delivery of innovative, researched-based leadership development solutions.
As a coach and facilitator, Carolyn works with individuals and teams to leverage strengths and identify core competencies and behaviors needed for success. She is highly skilled in customizing leadership systems that help organizations develop and retain talent through the integration of sound strategy and coaching and learning components that ensure the transfer of knowledge gained into specific, goal-oriented behavior change.
Her key accomplishments include:
- Senior Faculty for Lead21, the national leadership program for university faculty and executives
- Lead Faculty for the Executive Leadership for Academic Nursing program for the American Association of Colleges of Nursing
- Formally a Senior Faculty member with The Fanning Institute for Leadership at The University of Georgia and a staff member with the University of Utah’s Counseling, Health and Human Services Center
- Actively involved in professional and volunteer associations and currently an Executive Board member of the American Psychological Association’s Society of Consulting Psychology
Carolyn holds a B.A. in Psychology and Anthropology from Emory University and an M.A. degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Minnesota. She received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Organizational Development from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
