Leadership Institute and President at Hoffmann Brothers, Matt Whiat draws on his previous 20 years of leadership experience as a former US Air Force Officer, helping organizations create cultures where people feel valued. His roles allow him to help other organizations and leaders transform their cultures to be more people-centric not just today and tomorrow, but for future generations.
An accomplished TEDx Speaker, previously Matt held roles in the United Nations to bring peace to Liberia, West Africa, working with NATO partners for operations in Afghanistan, boot camp squadron commander and service on the Joint Staff at the Pentagon. Matt has graduate degrees in international relations, finance and management from Troy University and the Air Force Institute of Technology. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Southern Illinois University.
