Robina Onwong’a, Ph.D.

Robina is a growth, performance, and wellness-driven individual who is passionate about helping organizations choose, develop, and retain exceptional leaders while cultivating and maintaining a healthy, diverse, and inclusive environment. She brings a diversity of experiences, having served as a university-level instructor and a consultant collaborating with stakeholders in academia, information technology, law, mental health, and other sectors across grassroots, national, and global organizations.
She has considerable experience in conducting research and assessments and implementing evidence-based interventions related to mental wellness, personal and professional development, diversity, inclusion and belonging, social impact, and strategic communications. In addition to using science-based psychological assessments, she leverages her clinical and research expertise to inform her consulting process.
Robina is a creative problem solver who has received exceptional interdisciplinary training. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Psychology, French Language & Literature, and International Studies. She received an M.Ed. and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri, during which time she served on national leadership boards and received several notable grants and awards, including the Gus T. Ridgel Fellowship.
